|Merry Pitmas ! All of our pitties ( minus pups ) are free to good homes for the month of December !
Cash is an all around great boy. Affectionate and attentive, excellent with people but is not dog friendly.
*Foster Notes* 7/18/17 "Cash is a big lover. He is a medium energy, strong dog who knows sit, lay,
and shake. He is fair on a leash, but since he is strong, he likes to pull. He is house trained and understand boundaries. He is a licker and loves to be pet. His size should not intimidate, as he is very gentle and listens well. There is just a lot of him! He enjoys playing with a rope and chewing
*Return Notes* 4/20/17 "He is very submissive and well trained. A real sweetheart with the adults and older children. No small children or other dogs in the home. He would benefit from a calm environment."
*Foster Notes* 3/10/17 He is a really loving dog. He listens, sits, lays down, and he walks well on leash."
His previous owner wrote: "Cash is fixed, potty trained, sits, speaks, shakes, and is a wonderful family dog, trained 100%, listens well and is definitely trainable (if needed). He is great with cats, dogs, and small children. He has gentle eyes and a heart as big as the world. I recently had to surrender him because I am a single-mother with one income, and have a 9 month son and another girl Pit Bull Terrier Mix- same age (they were best buddies). I am not able to give him the time and attention that he deserves and have reached out to my local rescues here and no luck, they are overcrowded and unhelpful in taking him in. I have reached out to friends, tried everything before surrendering him and no luck. I know Cash will definitely be able to be adopted out to a good home, if someone will just help and take a chance on him. It breaks my heart every day since I have dropped him off, he needs a RESCUE, I am hoping that you can please help in saving this young dog's life, as he has many more years of life left in him. I originally rescued him from Downey Animal Shelter back in 2015 when he was just a pup, he had only 24 hours to live before euthanasia, so I took a chance on him and it has forever changed my life, he is the best dog anyone could ever ask for, and it kills me that he is in the same spot as before."
So now sure enough, Cash has the chance he so deserves... now it's time for a home!!
