11/11/18 Bandit Foster Update
"Bandit has proven herself to be a well behaved, happy and loving girl at home, in the car, at Point Isabel, at the beach, in the backyard and anywhere she goes. She gets along with every dog she meets. She loves to cuddle. She sleeps a lot. She sits, stays and comes like a champ. She prefers to be near me at all times.
She does donkey “Eeyore” impressions when she wants dinner. She prances and flips her head like a dressage horse. She wakes up very happy and will make your morning bright! Her back legs are giving out so she needs help getting into the car and onto the bed. She can put her front legs up on the surface and help you hoist her back end.
She pulls on the leash when something interests her. We are working on that.
It would be best for Bandit to be adopted directly from my home, as she was quite traumatized in the shelter environment."
Bandit is a very sweet and friendly dog! She has grown up around many children and babies and is known for her sweet and gentle nature toward them.
Bandit does get excited and energetic when riled up when playing outside! She also gets really excited when visitors ring the bell or knock on the door and barks to let everyone know someone's there!
Bandit has lived indoors most of her life, is house & potty trained and is not known to be destructive indoors. There was a short time that she spent most of her time outdoors due to her owner's circumstances. She is very adaptable and did not let this break her spirit!
She is good with other dogs and even cats as she grew up with another large dog, 1 small dog, and 6 cats!
**Bandit deserves a lovely retirement home, give a senior a chance. Special Senior Sanctuary Dogs are available for a 100% negotiable/flexible adoption fee... a loving home is what they need and what we want for them!**
