FOSTER NOTES: "Scooter is an affectionate, sweet-nature dog. He came from a hoarder home so he was timid at first but with lots kisses and pets he came around.

He is great with kids, especially girls. He is affectionate and playful and gets along great with other small dogs - but is intimidated by my cat."

Like many hoarder dogs Scooter has separation anxiety. Hoarder dogs have a certain amount of separation anxiety because of lack of socialization in their early days. He does not like the crate. I've been feeding him in it to try and acclimate him and he's ok until he’s alone. He sleeps through the night with me. He is potty trained but has an occasional accident.

Scooter needs a brother or sister! Scooter’s ideal home is with a family who has another dog, which will help his separation anxiety. A home with kids and possibly a yard would also make him very happy."
