|"We love Tex. He is the best dog we have ever had. So we spoil him and thus refer to him as "The red prince". When we lived in Berkeley, we used to take him to Cesar on Shattuck where Cal women would take one look in his eyes and then bend down to pet him. He is still a chick magnet!
Thanks for saving him and for letting us adopt him. Susan and Tim Allison-Hatch"
|"Hi Milo! We wanted to give you a long overdue update on Rizzo aka. Little Tank (now Bentley).
We adopted him back in November 2016. Since then he has adapted to our home wonderfully. He is very intelligent and friendly and he often gets compliments on his sweet and happy disposition. His favorite pastimes are playing with other dogs and laying in the sun.
Though it’s only been about 6 months, it feels like we’ve had him forever. Thank you for helping us find this amazing addition to our family. Mark and Nicole"
|5/20/17 "He broke out of his carrier - scary! But we handled it fine (I have a cloth one for we used to get him in the house). Cats are adjusting slowly to a new brother - very curious especially about his food. He is eating - loving the smoked turkey my husband gave him. The kids love him and he is so sweet to them. Rubbing and purring. They call him tuna! Thank you!!"
|I wanted to send you an update on Smokey (adopted 12/23/16). We renamed him
Kylo, and he has settled in beautifully. He is a sweet, loving, active boy
who loves hikes, snuggles, and his daily runs with his dad. He is
absolutely brilliant, the smartest dog we've ever met, and he took
beautifully to obedience training. He has also learned many tricks, and we
are just starting to work on some agility training, which he loves. He
knows sit, stay, down, come, get back, go to your place, shake, high five,
all ten, roll over, follow, up, off, and watch me. He goes everywhere with
us, and has lots of doggie friends that we go see often. We feel so blessed
to have him in our lives, and want to extend our sincerest gratitude to the
Milo Foundation for matching us up with this little ball of love.
Best, Marie, Phil, and Kylo
|"Just dropping a note to tell you Murphy is doing great. She's a happy, healthy 6 months now. She loves hikes at Napa's Alston Park and long walks along the Napa River.

|"Hi Milo Foundation,
Just wanted to give you an update on Abbottina. We have renamed
her Gracie and she is doing wonderfully in our home. She is a sweet girl,
full of energy, and curiosity. She is very smart and is responding well to
treats. We have had her for almost 3 weeks now, and she already knows
"Sit", "Lay down", "Come" and is learning how to wait for treats until she
hears the command "Take it." She is also doing very well with potty
training, and knows to go potty outside. Gracie loves to play with her two
We absolutely love her, and are forever grateful that we were chosen as her
family. I have attached some pictures of her.
