   Name: OLIVER
LAURIES FERALS

   Breed: Domestic Short Hair
   Color:  Orange Tabby
   Gender: Male
Age: 4 mos.  Birthday: 4/2017 (est)
Referral placement - adoption assisted by Milo.

   Milo ID: 25730
   Current Location: Foster Care
"These four beautiful and smart kittens were found wandering behind Albany Middle School. Their mom was nowhere to be seen, but thankfully, a feral grey tabby male was watching out for them. We set out food and they all dove into it.

After spaying and neutering the kittens we didn’t want to return them to the streets, because we had hopes that with love and tenderness they would become wonderful pets, and because there are coyotes in our neighborhood.

We’ve been working with them quite intensively, and although still shy, they are making great progress. They love to play with us and eagerly lick food from our fingers. They will require extra tenderness for a while during their transition to new humans and a new home. We are confident that with patience and love they will be great pets.

We are seeking adult experienced cat owners, and indoor only homes for them. Experience with ferals a plus.

Oliver is a sweet and beautiful marmalade orange tabby kitten. He purrs when we walk into the room, and his eyes will melt your heart. He loves to play and chase after toys. Oliver also loves to have his tummy rubbed."

   Breed: Shepherd Mix
   Gender: Male
Age: 9 mos.  Birthday: 11/2016 (est)
   Weight: Medium (30 - 60 pounds)
Referral placement - adoption assisted by Milo.

Olly is a mixed breed of some sort. I was told he was a black mouth cur mix. He's is quite small in size at 9 mos so I'm assuming he's mixed with a smaller breed. Olly was on his way to a kill shelter when I adopted him. 3 weeks later, my 3 grandchildren (2,3,5) were placed in my care during the day. Poor Olly has gotten the short end of the stick as there is no time for him any longer. He needs alot of attention and training to be a good house dog and I feel bad about leaving him outside all day by himself. This has led me to the decision that he would be so much better off with a family that has time, attention and love for him for all his days. Olly is a 9 mos old un-neutred male. He has had his rabies and DHLPP shot. Olly is an active dog and loves to run and go for walks. When exercised properly he lays around quite calm and LOVES to be with people. When not exercised he whines, paces and can destructively chew up things. We have spent much time socializing him at dog parks which has gone from horrible to great. He now loves being around other teen and adult dogs. We have noticed that he shows aggressive dominant behavior around younger puppies, which cannot be explained. Maybe because he's not fixed? He also at times tries to mount my 13 yr old son, but largely because he sees him as a litter mate. He rarely mounts me, his alpha female. He is super smart and very easily trained. This dog will do anything for treats, mozzarella being his favorite. Again, he LOVES people and will follow his alpha leader around everywhere. He does seem to have separation issues and will whine and try to get out of crate for about 15 min after being left. He has been on a crate schedule so at bedtime with a "nite nite" command he hunker's down quietly. He is fully potty trained and goes on command of "go pee/poo" he is crate trained and does well on a gentle lead leash, if not, he will pull. Other than what's specified, he doesn't have any other behavioral issues. He is a great dog and we loves him, that is why we are rehoming him. He deserves time and attention to be the best dog ever, mentally and physically but since the young children are now a huge part of my day, he does not get the attention, affection or exercise he needs, and it's not fair to this amazingly sweet and loyal dog. I hope you can help me rehoming him to a great family that really loves dogs. PLEASE CONTACT jesslovnhim@gmail.com FOR MORE INFO

   Name: DOZER
DOZER AND RUBY
More Photos
   Breed: English Mastiff Mix
   Gender: Male
Age: 1 yr. 6 mo.  Birthday: 2/2016 (est)
   Weight: Extra-Large (over 90 pounds)
   Milo ID: 25721
   Current Location: Foster Care
DOZER and RUBY are sibling Mastiffs, they are playful, though not overly energetic, they are a tad meek, winding around and through your legs, leaning in for safety and protection - though of course as they gain confidence and security they will not likely feel the need to be protected by humans so much.... they were left outdoors in a yard without good fencing and kept getting out, so instead of providing better fencing they were dropped off at a high-kill shelter! Gorgeous, sweet dogs who are looking for love and affection. They adore each other and will not love being home alone left in a yard.... they want and deserve a home with people that accept, and want them as family members!

These are big dogs that will need consistency and training, they will gain confidence and need to know what is expected of them, and to walk well on leash and to listen to their people. Consistency and good behavior as well as ongoing socialization with dogs and perhaps other animals.

$500 adoption fee. $900 together.

   Breed: Labrador Retriever Mix
   Gender: Female
Age: 3 mos.  Birthday: 5/2017 (est)
   Weight: Medium (30 - 60 pounds)
   Milo ID: 25716
   Current Location: Foster Care
Misty is a very sweet puppy. Will know more soon!

Active, alert, social, happy girl that will keep her adopters busy! As with all pups, she will need folks with a true commitment to training, with the time and patience to provide plenty of activity, stimulation and ongoing socialization so the pup will grow up to be well-adjusted canine citizens. Puppies require consistency and demand attention and training... they take resources for quality foods, flea/tick/Heartworm prevention, training and more training, consistency and of course lots of love and attention. Vet care, perhaps day care or dog walkers if there are too many demands on your time... pups are a major commitment in time, money and patience but oh so rewarding if you are truly ready for an active, smart, cuddly, fun-loving addition to your family!

$450 adoption fee. Because puppies need consistency and a true commitment, there are no refunds on puppy adoption fees (it become a donation.)

   Gender: Female
Age: 6 mos.  Birthday: 2/2017 (est)

Off to a foster home for now !

She is deaf and a real sweetheart.

   Name: VISALIA
CENTRAL VALLEY MINI LABS
More Photos
   Breed: Labrador Retriever Mix
   Gender: Female
Age: 7 wks.  Birthday: 7/2017 (est)
   Weight: Medium (30 - 60 pounds)
   Milo ID: 25694
   Current Location: Foster Care
*Foster Notes* 8/17/17 "Visalia is a spunky firecracker who loves to adventure and explore. She has a ton of energy, is very playful and will need someone who will keep her active and engaged. She is a sweetheart and loves chasing balls."

Seven Lab Mix pups, heavy on the mix. Some pitty, some Chihuahua mix in the Dad, mom is a medium sized Lab mix red-brown in color, Dad a wily Chi-terrier who goes around and gets through and under fences impregnating dogs in Fresno! Two litters fathered by this sneaky, hormone driven dude!

The plus side is they are sweet pups, "Mini Labs". We figure they'll weigh in the 25-55 pound range...time will tell. Some seem likely to be smaller, and others larger.

They are cuties, playful and sweet with each other, playing, nuzzling, piling up to sleep. Four girls, three boys - named after Central Valley towns that need Spay/Neuter help!

$350 adoption fee. As with all pups these sweeties need a commitment to raising a good pup into a great dog and family member! This takes energy, patience, stamina, resources.... and training! Pups need consistency, all family members need to be on the same page, using the same techniques and words/commands. We strongly recommend Puppy classes for the whole family!

There are no refunds on puppy adoption fees. Please think hard about your time and energy and demands on your life now and in the future. Are you ready for a 16 year commitment to your dog?! Then by all means come visit or send in an application today! info@milofoundation.org
