FOSTER NOTES: "Finn is a lovely pup who loves to snuggle and play. She's still a little shy but has been adjusting quickly. She was great with our kids and has done well in the crate.

One of five rascals - wanting people time and learning about life as a loved family companion! They were likely never out of the home they were born in or rather the yard - so they are wide-eyed and a bit frightened upon arrival - but will learn about life as a loved family member!

Breed: Siberian Husky - Wolf Dog Mix
   Gender: Male
Age: 1 yr. 9 mo.  Birthday: 2/2017 (est)
   Weight: Large (60 - 90 pounds)
   Milo ID: 28163
   Current Location: The Milo Sanctuary
One of a pair of hybrid type fellows who arrived via a small rescue in the Sacramento area. These are truly delightful creatures who just love romping and playing in the wooded hills at our Sanctuary! They have two delightful girlfriends in their pack and the foursome immediately took to each other like long lost friends (or family members!)

Blue-eyed Sinatra is not a dog who chooses human company, though he is sweet, sensitive, curious and does engage, but chooses dogs over humans. We respect that choice and give him and the others the time and a big space to call home - eventually in the right circumstances with the right kinds of people and other dog(s) we can consider placing them, or they'll stay here and have their friends and good food and a happy life!

One of a pair of hybrid type fellows who arrived via a small rescue in the Sacramento area. Cysco is smaller and likely perhaps to be part Coyote. These are truly delightful creatures, playful and silly, who just love romping and playing in the wooded hills at our Sanctuary! They have two delightful girlfriends in their pack and the foursome immediately took to each other like long lost friends (or family members!)

   Breed: Australian Cattle Dog Mix
   Gender: Male
Age: 4 yrs. 2 mo.  Birthday: 9/2014 (est)
   Weight: Large (60 - 90 pounds)
   Milo ID: 28091
   Current Location: The Milo Sanctuary
Hunter has medium energy and can be shy of new people and situations on first meeting. He loves to go on walks and is good on leash. He approaches dogs well on leash and also plays off leash with dogs. He longs for a rural home perhaps, or at least to be away from the kennel stress at the Adoption Center - so he has gone up to our Sanctuary where he can move around and not have the constant leash-unleash, kennel, dogs and people factor!

Hunter has an independent streak and will take a little time to build up trust with his new human. He would love to go to a home with another dog to help build his confidence, and have some play time.

   Breed: Rottweiler
   Gender: Female
Age: 4 yrs. 1 mo.  Birthday: 9/2014 (est)
   Weight: Extra-Large (over 90 pounds)
   Milo ID: 28080
   Current Location: The Milo Sanctuary
Baby, Blue and Bubba are NIG, sweet Rotties!! Milo took them in after their person passed away. Well (too well) fed, and very loved dogs, great companions who get along really well, happy siblings!

Baby is housetrained, pulls a bit on leash initially but with more exercise and routine she’ll settle some, as well some training and perhaps a corrective harness or Halti would help!

At our Sanctuary for a break along with brother Blue!
