Notes: "Andy is a young energetic kitty who is just figuring out life. He is bursting with energy and loves to play. He would do well in a home with cat savvy people who have time to spend playing, building trust, and setting boundaries. He is inquisitive and very entertaining, but he’s still learning when not to bite and scratch. If you’ve got time to invest in this cutie pie, you’ll have a playmate for life."

Sanctuary Volunteer Notes, by Elle: "Boodle in spite of being aloof likes affection. He will hang around a few feet from me then run off when I approach him but not fast enough to get away from me before I pet him a few times. It's a little game we play. Kind of like hurry up and catch me, pet me, give me attention while I pretend I'm not interested. Boodle blossoms when I take him to the vet. He's my kitty then and snuggles hiding his head up against my chest or under my arm while purring like a little kitten. He allows the vet and assistant to handle him, carry him around. As you can see in these photos, he's quite the cute kitty. One of my favorites. He's stayed at my house twice for long periods, gains weight and has zero litter box issues. I love this little guy with his notched ear. He's quite the character."

8/28/16 Boodle just began his third stay in my house. Each time I am amazed at the progress he makes in his transformation from resident in a feral cat colony, to socialized home cat kitty. I'm happy to report that Boodle has made it. This time he hasn't hid once. He comes to greet me, sits out on the deck during the day with the world passing by underneath, hasn't run from me once and is seeking attention and affection. He's a large, masculine, handsome, classic Tabby Cat. I love the way Boodle moves about with a bit of a swagger in his walk he looks very self assured and confident. He's an inquisitive, affectionate kitty who loves other mellow, easy going cats like himself. He'd be happy as a single kitty or with other well mannered cats. But if you'd like to make Boodle's dreams come true then adopt White Foot too. She's a lovely well mannered Senior Cat like Boodle and they are quite fond of one another. Boodle is a gentlemanly cat who has been litter box perfect and easy to live with. A low maintenance, good natured companion that is sure to please. Boodle would prefer a quiet, calm, adult household.

Age: 7 yrs. 7 mo.  Birthday: 3/2010 (est)

   Current Location: The Milo Sanctuary
Elle's notes: Joe is a senior Abyssinian cat with a very mellow demeanor. His quiet Buddha like energy fills your home with a peacefull feeling. He follows you as you move about the room with his gorgeous Amber eyes. He's a very easy fellow to live with who's never pushy or demanding and doesn't get underfoot. He will come softly to you then wait patiently until you notice him sitting close by, just waiting for some petting and attention. In return he'll give you the sweetest love. He's silky soft, keeps his coat meticulously clean, is litter box perfect, uses the cardboard scratcher and doesn't get under foot. When at my house he found "his spot" and snoozed away the time there quite contentedly. He is cat friendly but generally stays to himself when other kitties are present. He ignored my small, cat friendly dog. Joe is a wonderful companion. I can't adequately express how very sweet, gentle and nice Joe is. He would do best in a quiet adult home with someone who also has calm, positive energy. For more information on Joe contact Sanctuarycats@milofoundation.org or call Elle at 415/350-0335. Joe resides at the sanctuary but can be shown in the Bay Area
