|Fannie is one pretty pitty! With her blue coat and butterscotch eyebrows, this gorgeous girl is ready for her forever family.
We suspect that sweet Fannie came from an abusive situation because she can be shy around strangers at first and tends to flinch when spooked by sudden hand movements. Despite all this, she still loves people! And Fannie's wonderful foster home has helped her come out of her shell even more and blossom into the total lovebug she is! Here some notes from Fannie's foster Mom:
Fannie has been a fun and wonderful dog to foster. Fannie can be cautious when you first meet her, but once you allow her to feel safe and set a daily routine with her meals and exercise, she truly opens up and is a consistently loving dog. She will give you love, cuddle up to you, and play happily with her toys. She tends to be more open to women upon first meeting them, but will open up to most people as well as other dogs if she has positive encouragement from her caretaker. Fannie wants to play with other dogs and does not typically greet aggressively; she tends to be more curious and passive at the onset. Fannie does very well with routine and seems to love long exploratory outdoor walks. She is a good jogging/running buddy and does well running along the beach while on leash. She’s a very sweet dog and deserves a good, loving home with lots exercise, good daily routine and human cuddlers!"
Please let us know if you would like to meet Fannie! She does prefer quieter environment and for this reason we are looking for a home with older children only (14 and up). If you think your family could be a good fit, we'd love to hear from you!
